SEO takes constant monitoring. Everyone quarrels and squabbles for top spot, but only a couple can be king of the mountain. In this case, our oldest client (to respect anonymity - “Duke Finance”) found itself in an increasingly competitive fight - and fell off the top.
“Hey, we pay you a lot of cashola and want to know why you let us fall on Google,” Duke said. So like obsessed maniacs, we went nuclear on ourselves - it was gut check time.
It happens. The algorithms change. Yonder had to change - it’s what we do.
